Orange (Citrus sinensis) oil is cold pressed from the peels of oranges. Traditional uses of orange oils provided a variety of therapeutic properties. Limonene, an active compound in orange oil, has been researched for its ability to aid in digestion, support circulation, boost vitamin C absorption and heal the skin. Orange oil is also a natural cleanser and deodorizer, particularly for wood. Research also suggest that orange oil has strong wound healing properties.
