about the sounds

In the Meditations, you will hear the sound of whichever oil you select.  Some things are not clearly spoken or understood with the english language.  I have had many people ask me to tell them about the sounds.. and more often than not, I simply ask them to try the meditation, and listen to the sounds with their heart.  After the meditation, I look the person in the eyes and I say, now, please tell me about the sounds.  The response is wordless and emotional, but understood.  We look at each other and agree.  Sometimes there aren’t words to describe what is felt.

Rossini stated it best when he said:

“The language of music is common to all generations and nations; it is understood by everybody, since it is understood with the heart.”

Everything living has a sound!  When I compose the sounds I play the frequency of that which I am hearing.  For example, when I composed the sound of lemon, I was hearing the living frequency or resonance of a lemon grove.  I hear the frequency, match it in the sound between the notes, the sound that comes from the strings of the piano and radiates from the sound board.  What you are hearing is not a melody on the keys, it is the frequency or resonance of that living thing.

Mozart said it best, he said:

“The music is not in the notes, but in the silence between.”

The sounds have the power to aid in the healing process.

The sounds have the power to cross over political, social, economic, even religious boundaries.

The sounds can cause people to listen with their hearts instead of their heads.

The sounds have the power to soften hearts.

The sounds are a form of light.

The sounds awakens greatness within.

The power of music is communication.

This music, which I regard as very sacred, connects the mind and soul and allows communication to flow between the two.

During the meditations you will experience communication from the soul to the mind in the form of thoughts, memories, emotions and feelings, visuals and images, sounds and even open conversations.
